Chelsie and her family moved to Orem, Utah, when she was 6.

She ended up taking 5th place in the season 4 of the SYTYCD show.
PW: You had some really memorable routines on your season — what is the most mentioned by fans? PW: It kind of foreshadowed your work on the Lady Ga Ga tour. There’s just something about her that I need to be around and experience. Mark: They way that she is with her music and her fashion is the way that she is with her dance. Plus the choreographers – Laurie Ann Gibson and Richie Jackson – do an incredible job of not only choreographing, but encouraging the dancers to put ourselves in the dance. But I had worked with the choreographers before somehow they remembered me from this past job, so they hired me. Mark: When my agent told me I literally started crying my eyes out. PW: Can you pinpoint a most memorable moment with her?He hired world class coaches such as Karina Smirnoff, who would train the couple one-on-one for an hour and a half every day.Ballroom Dancing Accomplishments On March 12th, 2005, Chelsie and Bradley placed 3rd in the US National Junior and Professional Dancesport Championships in Provo, Utah.They were also selected to attend the world’s most prestigious Black Pool Ballroom dancing competition in England.But, they did not do so well in Blackpool, and shortly after Chelsie auditioned for the the season 4 of TV show “So you think you can dance?She had such trouble learning new steps that she stayed late after class most nights so that the teacher could help her catch up.
